Mulberries

At the end of last week I received an email from the Italian bloke who ran the foraging workshop along the Cooks River. It’s mulberry season, and he asked for recipes. My mother used to make tarts. These ones were going to waste, falling to the footpath and being squashed underfoot. The ripe ones were sweet and delicious.
