Testing the Water….

Out before 6.am for a walk along the River tracks. Maisie and I checked out some of the river pools that are hidden away amongst big willow trees. They looked like good swimming holes. Here is Maisie checking out the water. She crossed the river and had difficulty finding a suitable place to return. After scrambling along the steep banks she jumped into the water and went right under… and splashed to the surface looking very surprised. A warm nor-west wind today. A friend, R, called in for lunch, great to see her. I managed to work at gardening for several hours today. I am pleasantly tired.
