Turnip lantern

My not-so-little sister has kept up the (right and proper) tradition and carved a turnip lantern for Hallowe'en.

We relished the extra hour in bed this morning and then spent a day quietly at home. I brewed two batches of soup: tomato, pepper and basil; sweet potato and carrot. I also cleared the rockery of leaves and planted some miniature tulip bulbs there.

Exercise today: 30 minutes on the exercise bike; yardening.
