Evening on zoom

I have just spent an entertaining evening listening to two of my favourite Guardian columnists, Polly Toynbee (“ I failed the 11plus”) and Tim Dowling (“ everybody likes a story”).
There were 102 of us in the chat room including a guy from Kabul.
 
Once upon a time, i.e. pre pandemic , I would have travelled into Glasgow or Edinburgh to listen to them. Now it’s a flick of the switch on to zoom.
