Christmas team drinks

After work I met up with Lucy and Heather, and we went for drinks at the new cafe/bar The Gangway in Sheringham. It was so nice to be doing something normal. A couple of years since we did anything Christmas related with work colleagues, and although it was just 3 of us, so one third of our team and a tiny percentage of the whole office, I felt good to be out. I think we all appreciated it all the more as we've had so little contact. We chatted for 3 hours. It was just a really nice evening. Not a great photo, but proof we were all there!

Work was OK, and the management team had organised a Teams Christmas gathering at lunchtime. It was entertaining, and appreciated.

Now bed. Day off tomorrow, and time to remember my lovely dad, as it will be the first anniversary. How can it be a year already.
