It's That Time Again

Miss L didn't have her Coeliac check up last year at the JR due to Covid so there's a gap in the "Girl(s) at a Window" series.
Back again today and she's about a foot taller!
They used numbing spray for the first time rather than Magic Cream for taking bloods and she was a star. The nurse took her mind off the injection with the Ultimate Alphabet book. I used to pore over that for hours when I was her age. Twenty-six amazing pictures full of hundreds if not thousands of items for you to find each starting with each letter of the alphabet. She loved it so I'll look out for it on ebay for her for Christmas.
After the hospital we went into Oxford and had a lovely time eating dinner at Five Guys and wandering around the shops. Miss L particularly loved HMV and the old arcade games which you could sit and play. For free. Mortal Kombat was right up her alley! I had to drag her away in the end.
