Field of Gold

I went to Johnston Gardens now the work on resurfacing the footpaths is complete. I could have posted a picture today of freshly laid tarmac still looking pristine after only a few days of use. Instead a picture of yellow or gold coloured crocuses.

After a very cold night the water in the shadier parts of the pond had a thin layer of ice. It must have been a cold night for the ducks.
