Down by the river

A late night last night enjoying a drink once Julie was home from work, so a lazy morning . Well fairly lazy 2 loads of washing done and drying out on the line perfect weather for it.
Late morning we decided to go for a walk to find a blip we decided to go along the cycle track along the river. A few birds around enjoying the nice sunshine just like us. We wasn't planning going to far as Julie is at work. That changed when we got a tip from a couple saying they had seen an Otter further up the river , They said about  1/4 mile further up so we decided to carry on walking . No sign of it but I said to Julie lets just walk up to some trees about a further 200 mtrs . Getting ready to head back home disappointed I then spotted a pair splashing around in the water so whispered to Julie who turned round to enjoy them as well. Took a few shots and just watched with enjoyment following the bubbles as they swam underwater . Never got a shot of them both together but a great experience  I have seen them before in the wild up in Scotland but never this close to home. Back home watching some FA Cup football before I take Julie to work and then a film tonight so long as I don't fall asleep
