Does mindfulness work for you?

They say you should try something new every day.
Well, last week I picked up a leaflet on mindfulness, something I had never tried but have heard good reports about.
 
 
So that’s how I came to be sitting for one and a half hours on a Sunday afternoon in the Yoga Tree room in Stirling. 
 (I must confess the prospect of sitting for that length of time did not strike me as a fun thing to do but I was determined to give it a go.)

Well, it wasn’t as difficult as folk had led ne to believe, maybe because there is always an element of mindfulness in our weekly yoga class.
 But here comes the hard part. We have been given homework, which means practising mindfulness for ten minutes a day.
 
And next Sunday we will have to report back to the group on our progress, or lack of it.

It would be interesting to know though if other Blippers have tried mindfulness and whether it worked for you.
