Operation Rat - Day 1

Rattus rattus poked his nose around when the crumble started to cook in the oven. The smell must be overpowering for him now that I've cleaned the area around his makeshift nest. All the guinea pig stuff (food, cage, etc) has been moved from the back room next to rattus to the front room. The humane rat trap should arrive any moment now via special evening delivery. I have the chocolate bait ready (apparently it's one of the best baits). Hopefully tonight we'll have ourselves a captured rat. He's been living a life of luxury for far too long!
