Misty was a happy collie when she had playtime with her friend this morning.  She always goes into hyper mode when they meet.  My neighbours were in the garden when we got home so went over to say hello and had a nice long chat with them.  I came away with an Easter egg, box of biscuits for Misty and a pot of grape hyacinths for the garden  ... think I did rather well :)

We've just heard that Stagecoach are going to be stopping the bus service from Carlisle to Bowness on Solway at the end of June.  There are currently three buses a day stopping off at numerous villages along the route including my village.  Its also popular in the summer time with people walking Hadrian's Wall which starts/finishes at Bowness.   Wonder how people who don't drive will manage!  Have signed a petition but don't hold out much hope ... such a shame.
