Staring Cat

When I collected Ollie dog from the breeder to come to live with us I was told that she wasn't keen on cats. This did not concern me as I'm not a cat person and shoo them off our property as I fear for the birds.

Walking with my daughter and Frankie dog this morning we encountered this cat in a community garden. It shot daggers at Ollie and she barked furiously. She hardly ever barks. The cat held its ground, even when its mistress called it from her home. Its name is Bagpuss. It's certainly not saggy and baggy. I know nothing of cats but it looks well-bred to me. I think it might be a Balinese or Birman.

Our dogs had such fun together at the lake. Frankie had a swim and Ollie paddled, watching her clever friend in awe.
