Gone fishing.

Normally our encounters with Herons are; see it, slow down, creep nearer taking shots, and off it flies.  This one however seemed more interested in its next meal than a lumbering great narrowboat.

BY late morning we had completed the "Four Counties Ring" so with a few days in hand we continued down the Trent & Mersey canal.  We will turn round in time to be back in the Marina for Thursday after noon.
