Clitheroe Castle Keep

We decided on an easy (lazy) day and walked up to Clitheroe Castle after lunch.  We saw the small, but worth seeing, exhibition in the gallery on astro-photography.  and then walked up to the Keep which is all there is left from the Norman castle.  There are extensive views over the surrounding landscape - which is why the Normans chose this spot for their castle.
