" What on earth is he doing"

A look of bemusement on the faces of my cycling companions as I lift my bike up high to take a blip of the Severn Bridge ( and them of course!) on my iPhone mounted in a  carrier on my handlebars.

Why you may ask ,and they did ask! And why the shadow?

Because I couldn't  undue the screw holding it to the the carrier...and the edge of  the carrier partially covered the iPhone lens.......

We were out on a morning ride to the bridge and then of course a visit to the statutory 'hidden gem' cafe, a must on these rides ,with ride leader successfully maximising the hills we have to ride up!
