Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 236

This is the largest group of Monday "dookers" I have seen yet. To be fair it was much milder than last month but still chilly enough for me to run in my tracksuit and not hang around for blips for too long due to the strong gusts of south westerly winds. The sea is lead grey today. The sky seems to match. The visibility is, however, very good and the east Lothian landmarks are clearly visible. The Pharos was operating, out of shot, in the Forth yesterday and this morning. She is the Northern Lighthouse Board support vessel and is based in Oban. She services and supports the 200 Scottish automatic lighthouses and beacons and also carries out survey and searches.
