..Grin played British traditional music at todays Minster lunchtime concert, using violin and melodeons of softer and harder tone. Watching the melodeon playing today was mesmorising with wavy and varied compression of the beautifully decorated bellows; it seemed organic.

English definition apparently. A type of free-reed aerophone in which air passes through a frame. It has buttons rather than a keyboard, a bass set at one end, treble at the other. Aka a diatonic button accordian.
