.... Home From Work He Did Go! *   ....on Friday...

Now it's Monday and he's back.. armed with 4 new plants for the garden! and lots of mulching to do. E is my hero...I just can't keep up with him and all I have to do is help with the watering! 

There was even more good news of the day for me..I have been focused lately on finding back-up cat-sitters..to no avail. Mine is going away on the Labour Day holiday weekend and so are all my back-ups! Well, today, I finally found one - "K" across the street who has two small children, a husband, her mother and many animals of her own over there in that house..I thought she would have way too much on her hands to take on another task, so I always hesitated to ask.. but..she says she would be very happy to look after Maggie whenever I need someone.. Oh the energy of youth! ...

So, what a relief... K will be looking after Maggie and I can now go to the cottage for my next time slot! Life is good. 

* I always thought the 7 dwarves lyric  was " it"s off to work we go", but apparently not! It is, quel surprise - It's home from work we go"?
