Blackberry and Apple Cake

Obs with a few adjustments as I dint have self raising flour or any Cox's apples. Never mind. I haven't made a cake for years so i was a little apprehensive. I used a (generous) load of blackberries that I picked from behind the old fence when Gilbert and I took it down. And.... it is surprisingly good. Steve's dad, Pete popped round, lured by the promise of cake and he thought  was good too. I might give it another go.

Other than that it was work.....
