Penguin or pigeon?

My wee niece was having toothache so we called the dental emergency line yesterday and she got an appointment for this morning. We were lucky to find a parking space right outside the dental hospital and I waited by the car when she and her dad went in to be seen. No decay on the x-ray and a diagnosis of sensitivity so managed to get her some toothpaste to rub on her gums.

Back to the house for lunch before we took the bus into town to try and catch some street performances at the Fringe. Phin did really well on his first bus trip and was very calm in town with all the crowds.

We saw a performer who managed to put a tennis racquet minute the strings over his head and down his body whilst balancing on a rope held up by members of the crowd, amazing double jointedness.

Miss PHL came in to meet us after she finished work and we had a drink in George square before heading home to make pasta for dinner. A slightly earlier finish tonight!
