YorkGate

Don’t often do Wide Wednesday but thought the cafe at YorkGate might past muster as an entry even though it isn’t technically a restaurant or pub.
They do amazing meals though and their baking is second to none.
The cafe is in the old farmhouse you can’t see the house for the trees.
Parked my car at Adel Church and walked through the grounds to do my afternoon shift there.
Not a lot booked in after the holiday weekend but we had lots of visitors that called on spec so we ended up quite busy.
Spent a lot of my time searching the car park for a hearing aid that a visitor had lost, no luck unfortunately but l did get my 10, 000 steps in!
Brought my slice of Bakewell tart home to eat after dinner which will be a mozzarella and heritage tomato and basil salad and a glass of red.
