Toast!

Today, after walking the dogs at Strichen, we went up to Inverurie to meet a friend and look at an art exhibition at the Garioch Heritage Centre.
We had a most enjoyable time looking at the paintings then looking at the various exhibits in the museum part.

We still have a tea-set like the one on display! We never had the ducks on the wall but we did have a fireplace much like the one here when I was a boy.
We had lunch in the tearoom bit. I had tattie soup and it was probably the most tasteless soup I have ever had!
In other news, the adult swans are still trying to chase off the cygnets as you can see in the extra.
The other extra says it all!
Please, please , don’t let Boris make a comeback!
