Celebrations

After a blustery walk from the office to a seafront hotel, had a good time catching up with people I hadn’t seen in person for quite a while. The event was to mark the retirement of two partners, promotions of a few more than that, and I even received a bottle of bubbly for my 30 years with the firm (31now but there hasn’t been an event like this for more than 3 years for obvious reasons). The retirees are enjoying their life away from the law and made me feel envious of their freedom.
