Proofreading

I have two lengthy and vexatious bits of proofreading to do today. I really do need to get them underway and, in the case of one at least, completed today. I'm sitting with my laptop, coffee and some rewards. Blipped are: a homemade GF chocolate biscuit from my friend A. along the road. Some of the few remaining mint chocolates brought by my sister's friend last week. A plate from the Tiree Pottery bought in 2008.

The day started quite well as far as weather goes but it has deteriorated. I hope it's dry at lunchtime when I need to pop into town.

This evening I have my second meeting as a trustee of the new riding centre development. It will be interesting I know but, at the risk of sounding a grump, I do hope it is crisper than the first one I attended last month. I'm hopeless in the evening and I just want to switch off by 8pm. I've got a slot on the agenda so I will try to set a good example of succinct reporting!

Now, back to tracking changes.
