A sad day

I heard first thing from her brother D, that C had passed away peacefully in her sleep early this morning.  A sad day.  

Down south, my brother has taken our Dad from hospital to a nursing home in Whitstable near where he lives.  The plan is for a couple of weeks respite care but we'll see.  They FaceTimed with me at lunchtime after they had arrived and Dad seemed very disorientated and disengaged.  I realise how difficult this is for him.  Let's hope it works out ok.
