Welcome Colour

A picture of a picture, I'm afraid, but hey, attribution... This is part of a painting called The Cycle of Flowers, by Rosalind Wise. It's currently hanging at Nature in Art in Gloucestershire, where we went to look at the Bird Photographer of the Year entries. 

The exhibition has a large sign saying no photography, but I'd not noticed at by this point, and since the image is already on tablets and jigsaws I'll probably get away with it. It is lovely, though, and a this time of the year very welcome.

The exhibition too is excellent, and some of the images were tremendously good - and in some cases taken with kit I own, which made me a tad jealous that I'm not that good... I may have bought the book, albeit a dodgy online retailer got the sale, sorry not sorry. ;-)
