After the panto

We went to the pantomime this afternoon at the Macrobert Arts centre and I had some difficulty explaining to our Vietnamese guests what exactly a pantomime is. Also would they understand and enjoy it?
I need not have worried they joined in with great enthusiasm .

After yesterday’s celebratory setting fire to the Christmas pudding we had a real fire  when a paper napkin 
 caught fire from a candle and before we knew it we had a real fire on the dining table.
Thanks to quick action of our guests the fire was extinguished  and no damage down. But it was a salutary warning how easy a fire can start.
