Picking Cherries from a Yew Tree !

The weather was dull and damp today but that did not prevent the tree surgeons from pollarding our neighbours Yew tree to the front of our house.  I was surprised to see that they were using a cherry picker but it certainly made for a speedy job and it has opened out the view over the Kent Estuary towards Arnside for us.
