I had a lovely day on the annual Year Four trip to the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake Memorial Museum. I'm delighted to have a terrific class of kids this year; their behaviour and manners were outstanding, and they found the answers to all the questions I had prepared on the worksheet so quickly that, for the first time ever (and I have conducted this trip about eight times now) we were able to get a snack break in before the final movie. Gorgeous weather meant we could sit outside in the sunshine to eat those snacks and our picnic lunches afterwards.

The Year Four parents who came along to help with supervision were all exremely friendly, helpful and appreciative. I've been warned by the Year Three teacher that next year's Year Four will probably not be so delightful so I should make the most of this year. I fully intend to.
