Gersprenz

Another hike on the shores of the Gersprenz. In the end my feet were wet, because there was too much water for my boots.
My blip entry looks worse than it is. Okay, a lot of water, the river Gersprenz clearly beyond the banks. But actually this is part of the plan. The Gersprenz was renatured (or still is being), and the banks are low enough for the water to flow over them, and flood the lea.
On the other hand, it made it hard to follow my path. I had to take a detour, even had to cross the Wembach on wooden, slippery poles.
The wet feet I got because another part of my trip went over a path where the water was just everywhere, and higher than my boots.
