February spring

The morning started with some teaching, I had a student at ten. The word student may give you some images but I can tell you he's almost seventy years old. We have a good hour and a half usually, playing, or learning to play songs that he wants to know. He also sings in a mens-choir and wants to be able to accompany the choir on guitar in some occasions, they sing all sorts of songs, the next concert is all Elvis songs. We worked on "In the ghetto" and "It's now or never", both excellent songs for him.

After lunch I had a walk in the mild five degree weather, it felt mild because the sun actually warms a bit now. This tree had an interesting bark with silver-coloured lichen on it, which will have to do as a blip since it's the only one today. February spring is extremely deceitful, tomorrow we're expecting colder weather and maybe some snow, rain or slush. 
We'll get through it.
