Waukmill Bay

Returned from Hoy and I went directly to the Care Home as it is the time of year for my Mum’s annual review..  I then went along to see Davie.  He has been in Aberdeen Infirmary for two weeks as they have been assessing his ability to withstand the strongest of a new chemo formula. He is thankful that it has been worked out that the chemo can be offered to him in Kirkwall.  It has to be flown up and used within 24hrs.  He will be in hospital for about 4 hours whilst it is administered.  Phlegmatically he battles on.  We listened to ‘Rites’ by Jan Garbarek.  Davie thought unless I was inured to it then it wouldn’t be safe for me to drive home.
