The long and tall of it

This large and graceful sculpture (artist unknown) is in the main entrance lobby of Broomfield Hospital where, after 12 hours of fasting (-_-) I had an annual monitoring blood test this morning. Charlie took me (thank you) which was so helpful as she knows a good (free!) place to park rather than the official hospital car park (not free!) and it's always good to have company in medical situations.

Back home by 10am, an hour before I am usually fully functional, was quite weird and liberating - must try getting up earlier again!  The rest of the day included bro for lunch, tutoring JJ from 17.00-18.30, followed by shopping at M&S food hall with Charlie, and then latest charity shop jigsaw until 1.30 by which time I'd been up for nearly 15 hours, so decided to call it a night.
