Liverpool Football Club

I'm not a footy fan and in fact know very little about football. Wrong shape of ball for me. Rugby League rules in our town. However, I saw the sunshine this morning and thought forget the gym, go for a walk while it's nice and I thought how about a few geocaches with it?
Looked at this set of labs at the club and there was a traditional as well so off I went.
Very interesting and enjoyable walk around the ground with quite a lot to see. Free parking on a huge car park, a lot of crocuses and some daffs, statues, memorial and much more than I had expected to see.
There is building work taking place at the club but you can still access most of what you would want to see. I could not get near to the main Bill Shankly Gates as they were cordoned off and this was a blow since one of the lab stages was to obtain some numbers off a small brass plaque on the gates.
Luckily for me there was a friendly and obliging security guy who kindly read the numbers out to me.
Bitter cold day but so nice to see the sun.
