Inchmahome

Today I got a rare chance while out of work, picking up some stonework from Rustie. My friend Emma works for Historic Scotland and she drives the ferry boat over to Inchmahome island on the Lake of Menteith. Emma said that the bluebells are at their best and asked me in to going over and what a lovely scene. ( images to follow) Today's image is of Inchmahome Priory it is situated on Inchmahome, the largest of three islands in the centre of Lake of Menteith, close to Aberfoyle, Scotland. The name "Inchmahome" comes from the Gaelic Innis MoCholmaig, meaning Island of St Colmaig.

Took other images of bluebells which I will post tomorrow.
