Bella jumped onto my lap ...

and then ....

A good laugh to end a complicated day!

Jamie had to go to Wrexham to have a new backrest fitted to his wheelchair.  Rachel, his PA, took him and I looked after Bella.   This meant an early outing for Meg, a run with the other Meg out near the estuary in glorious sunshine which persisted all day.  Later I got assorted little jobs done in the house and greenhouse and my Mum surprised me with a visit having walked over from Chris's.  She stayed for tea, a turkey and ham pie that I cooked, shared also with Chris and Jamie.   A batch of scones, cooked while we ate the pie, were shared at pottery tonight where I combined a coil base and a rolled slab cylinder to fashion a large vase - extra pic.   It needs a little fettling but I am pleased with it.  Glazing will hopefully make it look less like a steam engine funnel!
