A Tiny Peek...

...Into the courtyard garden from my office on a crazy weather day. Rain to sun to downpours and hail. Will it ever stop?

This is the newly renovated courtyard (well a small piece of it). I posted the before photos on February 6th. The end we're looking at here is the end with the pile of dirt in the before photos. That's the trench that was dug for the electrical conduit for my garage. So a nice change. And I still have my olive tree to plant! It will go behind the bird bath in the center of the garden. About 12' tall and 6' wide at maturity. The plant you see in a pot is 'Gold Nancy' Honeysuckle - a very contained cultivar - which will cover the electrical box that you can't see...it's right outside my office wall.

I spend a lot of time on the phone enjoying this view - do you like my new trellis? I like it so much I just don't think I can grow a plant on it!

Thanks so much for your lovely comments, etc on my surprise encounter with Kendall and Sue at the Arboretum yesterday. Pure joy!
