Arlington Cemetery

Today I joined my daughter at her friend's father's funeral at Arlington. I took photos for the family but somehow had my focus set to manual. I had some keepers, but most of the photos are garbage. Fortunately, my daughter is a cellphone maestro. Her photos and videos are excellent. While there, we visited my parents and brother's graves. My main is a pano of Section 64, where they are buried. It is adjacent to the side of the Pentagon where the plane hit on 911. There is a Group Burial there for the victims.
The first extra is of the ceremony. It is the first time I have seen a ceremony for a cremation. It was incredibly moving.
This evening we went to a show at the Richmond Science Center at St. Charles High. The second extra is of my granddaughters in front of the hologram globe in the center. I love that they wore their star-decorated dresses to watch the stars in the sky show.
