Antique's Open

We popped up to Tesco at Stow-on-the-Wold today to get a couple of items to take with us to Munich tomorrow. Afterwards we had a quick pootle around the town. I usually find it hard to find a photogenic scene there but I liked this bike and thought it might be colouful enough for Wide Wednesday. As I was getting up from my dangerous kneeling position in the middle of the road I heard an American voice say 'I'm going to take my cue from this gentlemen' followed by a click from the safety of the pavement. I think I got a better angle on it.

I had to go into the shop of course. It was quite a mess really (extra) with not enough room to swing a mouse, let alone a cat.

On our way back to the car we called into another antiques emporium, much larger and much more spacious and organised than the first one. I'm tempted to investigate the costs of hiring a cabinet there - we've got lots of stuff as good as or better than the wares on offer, and some of the prices were very attractive (if you are the seller that is).

We'd had a picnic meal-deal lunch in the car and spent some time watching a lady getting more and more anxious about charging her car in the main part of the Tesco car park. I was thinking I might have to go and see if I could help, not that I know anything about car charging, but luckily another electric car driver came to her assistance.
