Double Trouble

With John away,  I had the day to potter. Pepper to walk and a few bits and bobs.  I do like life though when the odd curved ball is thrown in and things go on a different track.
In this case the track was Stoke Mandeville stadium where granddaughter Sophie was representing her Athletics club in quite a big competitive set up. I didn't know about this in advance but happy to abandon all those vague plans I had and head up to watch her - with camera of course.
Those youngsters are fast and talented. Sophie sets herself high targets and nothing short of winning is good enough.  Not achieved today but, between winner and the others close behind, there are nano seconds. Such a pleasure to watch all these young people active and taking part.

Later, I was able to spend a bit of time faffing with IR processing.  It has such a different effect from the normal and is beginning to excite my artistic side.

The teapots - we had the small one in our motorhome. Excellent and NO drips!! We needed a bigger one.....
