Coronation day

We went to the photography exhibition at the NHM for 10:00am. We then walked through Hyde park and watched the screens for a bit. We were aiming for Buckingham palace but many of the roads were closed to pedestrians as well as traffic which made moving around difficult . We went to Piccadilly and this peacock is outside Fortnum and mason and is made from biscuit tin lids. The police we spoke to sent us back to green park to get to buck house as it was open but when we got there they said it was closed . They were only letting people out not in. So we headed to Piccadilly station and made our way home. Disappoint really as we were hoping to catch a glimpse of the fly past .
A good but tiring day though 6 mikes walked in total or 13,625 steps.
Once home another 50 scones made and cooked ready for tomorrow
