Peek a Boo- Coronation day

Pip painting stones, after we watched the Kings coronation on TV and ate food i'd prepared yesterday, it was well worth the effort for the appreciation and showering of compliments about some of the delicious flavours. I didn't expect that.

I adored the harp, and wonderful music in Westminster. I used to sing in a choir in my youth my gown and peg in St John Lee Church was number 10. Funny how these little details are imprinted and never forgotten.
My mental struggle between awe and frustration leaves me with conflicted feelings. Considering the cost of this mighty affair, while also recognising its significance.

It certainly sparked a great conversation amongst our little gathering and a trip down the ages with Pip, I was impressed with her knowledge about the monarchs throughout history, including Lady Jane Grey, the monarch with the shortest reign of just nine days, when Jane laid her head on the executioners block she was 17 years old.
There have been 62 monarchs of England and Britain spread over a period of approximately 1200 years, beginning with Egbert 827 - 839.

I wasn't ready for History during my school days it gave me hellish nightmares.
