York Gate Garden

Day off for us today, and we joined a camera club trip to York Gate Garden for a wander around and a spot of lunch in the cafe.  There were 11 of there all together, and we had a good time.

Rather than go straight home afterwards, we decided to go visit a reuse shop at Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley.  This is a not for profit organisation that resells waste that companies have got rid of - there were lots of fabric, paper, containers, etc.  We picked up some old blinds to use as photographic backdrop, a couple of small 4" easels (cost 40p each!), some old film and a hessian sack that looks like it's previously been used for coffee.  We'll be going back at some point, see what else we can find!
