Very early start and arrived with the first commuters off the train in Glasgow. Walked up to SO offices for a finance meeting and general chat and planning, then down for lunch and some other meetings at RCS. The place was even more vibrant than usual with an open day bringing lots of young hopefuls and their parents in to look around and as I sat in the cafe with first NK then JM it was lovely to feel all the enthusiasm. Had a good chat to AS before off back to the station and just caught a train.
Beautiful sunny day and I’ve been indoors all day. Would have been nice to sit in a pub garden with some mates but instead I came home to finish watching Queen Charlotte and catch up on last night’s Sewing Bee, followed up with a programme where Patrick Grant found out about all the trades involved in preparing the uniforms for the coronation. Was really fascinating…some amazing skills and ancient crafts.
I enjoyed the strawberries and gooseberry yoghurt for dessert that I got from the farm shop at the garden centre yesterday.
Definitely going to spend tomorrow outdoors!
