Drive

Another glorious day to be outdoors. Mr Flossmo and I decided to tackle our driveway. It's shared between four houses but we own it and the maintenance seems to fall to us. The vegetation along the edges has been creeping in for a while so we decided to push mother nature back a bit. Mr Flossmo got the extension leads out and connected up his hedge trimmer, I pulled up weeds and cut back brambles and ivy. It was hot and thirsty work but I reckon we gained more than a foot in width. Hopefully it will stop the refuse collectors from reversing their truck over the grass triangle at the top of the drive although I am not holding my breath.

I wish I could say that the peony is mine but sadly it was in someone else's garden.
