Airport bear

Woke up normal time and headed out to get breakfast at terminal 5 Café Nero as it wasn’t included in the room. Left the hotel and headed to Terminal 3 to get there in plenty of time, arrived at 11.00. By 11.45 we had the bags checked in and were through security so headed to Wagamama’s for an early lunch, will also probably be the last lot of decent food we will eat for a day. Met holiday mum and dad as we left Wagamama’s, nice to finally see them in person as we hadn’t managed it for a few years with covid. Wondered down to the gate and got on the flight with no issues as well. 9.45 hour flight to get to Salt Lake City. Spent some time chatting to the flight crew in the galley while I was doing my back stretches. Help as I managed to some some extra gin to make the flight of better. Watched TopGun Maverick and then bullet train while drinking the 4 bottles of gin. Had a bit of a nap while watching Terminator as we started to head into Salt Lake City. Getting through security and customs was a lot easier than I was expecting and we just had to hand our bags to someone once we were through for the connecting flight to Jackson Hole. Saw our first bear in the concourse at Salt lake before getting the 40 minute flight to Jackson Hole. Arrive there around 9.30pm and noticed the car hire place was still open so we chanced out luck to see if we could collect the car today instead of tomorrow and we were lucky. Arrived at the hotel and got booked into a nice little lodge. relieved to get into bed after a 22 hour day.
