Best pals

These two enjoyed each other’s company for a day. Lucy’s humans have gone on holiday and her carers don’t arrive until a late afternoon ferry so she stayed with us for the day. Phew….it was a hot one! The dogs wandered in and out of the house at will, enjoying a bit of outdoors then seeking shelter in the house where all the windows and doors were open so there was a pleasant through draft. There is no sign of this warm dry spell coming to an end yet.
Great news …….. Bertie had a routine appointment with the vet. This is about three quarters of an hour drive on narrow twisting roads and in the past he has been sick several times on one journey. Today he made it there and back with no sign of sickness. Instead he seemed to be enjoying all the sights he saw along the way. Maturity seems to have cured the problem, hooray!!!
