Windmill 'De Hoop', Wemeldinge

'Hoop' sounds like and means 'hope'... and 'heap'.
'Wemeldinge' = 'WEY-mul-ding-uh' (and not 'Weymul-dinj')

Built in 1866, very close to the other windmill, the Aeolus, and visibly a bit less maintained, but maybe that is just how I see it.  Every time I pass by, it happens to be facing away from the road, and today was no exception.  This meant a shot at very close quarters, but the space around it is a bit crappy anyway.  Shot it from the rear as well, but I then ended up with the sun behind, and I just wasn't okay with that.

This was a quick trip as the rest of the day was spent on clearing my study.  A visit to IKEA resulted in a medium-sized plank and three desk organizers, all in wood, because the idea was to rest the plank on the organizers, thereby removing any need to drill holes in the wall.  It worked out very well, so that I now have two, even three, levels on which to rest my laptop -- on the desk surface itself, which has been the situation from the start, on one of the organizers if I pull it out from under the plank, and on the plank itself.  This will mean a less stooped posture when I have an online meeting and a more direct eye-contact angle as well.  The organizers now serve as open drawers and I have arranged some papers and other things in them, seeing as that is what they're for.  Right?

Kitchen duties.  Laundry and ironing.  Gaming.  Thankful for a sunny day and chores done.
