Rook's orf!

The rook may be off, but the rain's not! Well it's been raining lightly on and off all day, but we've had enough now and it can stop!

'Office work' this morning - writing my blog for Scotland's Gardens Scheme and titling ever more pictures.

This afternoon I went round to see a friend to discuss Keep Oban Beautiful stuff. We're trying to comply with the council's requirements re Health and Safety documentation and Risk Assessments as we're not allowed to work on council land without it. 

I found that not only is she dog-sitting a beautiful but crazy dog, but is also trying to sort out an injured rook which was found on the ground and had been attacked by something or other. It has to be hand-fed as it won't pick up food for itself. Reminded me of Monty Python!
