Lost in the jungle

I won’t live this one down at home for a good while.
Went out for a long walk round the local fields and in to the glen. Ploughed my way through waist high grass, nettles and prime
tick territory wearing shorts, caught my knee on barbed wire (minor injury), and then - got lost. Not really lost, I knew where I was, but the usual grassy area had turned in to a jungle of bracken so the pathway had completely disappeared. To my shame, I phoned home for the rescue team. I knew they would think it was hilarious.
I’m not allowed out on my own now.
